Prayer request for Week May 30 - June 7

(1) Wisdom from God for Arsenio and Belkis, the residential children homes director.  They have been making some difficult decisions these past months that involve change of house parents and the return of two children to their natural parents.  It reminds me of the difficult decisions our department of human services constantly make in finding foster parents to meet the needs of each child and when it is in the best interest to return children to their parents.  

(2) Summer job for Brian.  Our son is in Destin FL with a student ministry for 9 weeks.  He has been looking for over one week for a job.  He has looked at over 70 places, applied at 20, and been rejected by many.  He is quite discouraged.  The economy is definitely taking its hit even in a vacation town.

(3) Refreshment for George, Dinah, and Phillip as we have a family vacation this week.  We look forward to long walks and concentrated prayer.
